Key Ensemble has been invited to give a concert tour in China in June. The 16-day tour will take place between the 5th and 20th of June and includes 12 concerts at different venues around southern China – the last one in Shanghai. The line-up for the tour will be 16 singers.

The concert-programs for the tour consist mostly of Scandinavian and Baltic a cappella- classics. Performances will include music from Finnish composers, such as Sibelius, Rautavaara, Bergman and Mäntyjärvi, and of course from Key Ensembles collaborating composer Mikko Heiniö.

Key Ensemble will give a farewell- concert on Tuesday the 28th of May at the voluntary fire brigade-house of Turku, where also Chinese music included in the tour-program will be performed.

Kauniainen Music Festival will be arranged for the ninth time between 27 October and 4 November 2018. The theme of the festival is Memory – Unknown, and the ticket sale has started.

Key Ensemble and Tapiola Sinfonietta are in charge of the festival’s Big Bang. The evening’s program will draw out strange creatures and monstrous beauty. After the concert, it will be necessary to return your mind to this time and place!
